Wanted to show more of a small update than the previous one. This one is moreso focused on the development of the head. Practiced with texturing XYZ for the first time and it was pretty dang tricky not gonna lie. I might've made it too noisy and missed a few patches of skin detail which I will tweak possibly. Recreated everything on the head that I made when I started the project because I felt like I could've made it better. I also made a few tweaks on some other parts of her like her greaves, shirt, and shoulder armor. Next update will include hair cards, which is new for me, Detail on the metal possibly, and the sword and Talisman. Basically the rest of the Hi-poly. Any C&C is welcomed and have a nice one! Hello! It has been quite a bit, alot of things happened and obtained a sweet drawing tablet to learn. Now laser focused on trucking along with this though, She is at her secondary detail stage for the hi-poly. Next Update will be more focused on her Head, and teriary detail overall on the the model. Sirris of the Sunless Realms Fanart - WIP #1

Hello! This is my first blog post on my Character Fanart piece. The character I have chosen will be based off Dark Souls 3 and she is Sirris of the Sunless Realms. By far one of my favorite NPCs you can follow in the beautiful game. She is a member of the Blade of the Darkmoon Covenant and her goal is to hunt down her grandfather, Hodrick, who has fell under madness. 

So I started this project alittle bit ago when I was in a Character class taught by Adam Skutt and I needed to go back to it because lately my mind has been alittle unfocused. Took a few other classes offered by Ryan Kingslien from the Game Art Institute.

All images below in this post were snapshots from the Zbrush program. Primarily everything is still in the blockout phase. There are some parts that are already in a higher poly form and are still not complete. Alot of work still needed for this one! If you have any questions on anything I have done, feel free to ask.

This project will be going through the entire pipeline and ending  in Marmoset Toolbag. This will be my first character going through the process so wish me luck! Here are some reference images to get the feel. I have a whole bunch more but this is just a snippet of some. Some were from in-game, fan art, and from other amazing images. More of a inspiration board. The face is going to be primarily referenced from Actress Odette Juliette Annable.
